Volkswagen Cars - Volkswagen Prices
German brand Volkswagen is perhaps most famous for the icon Beetle, but their current lineup also includes a
wide range of vehicles to suit any driver's needs. Some of the popular models which have remained a feature over
the years include the Passat, Golf and Jetta. The brand is known today for reliability and is one of the most
successful imports in the American market.
The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle is something of a flagship model for the lineup. Although other models are better
sellers, the brand is always going to be synonymous with the Beetle. The latest incarnation of this classic model
is a 4 door compact hatchback which seats four people. The Beetle now features alloy wheels, push button ignition,
heritage wheels and ambient lighting, all of which bring this classic right up to date.

The 2013 Volkswagen CC provides drivers with a four door sedan which is available in standard trim level with
a direct-injected turbocharged 2.0 liter engine, or the upgraded sport trim level with a direct injected
3.6 liter
V6 engine. Both trim levels feature FWD and have a fuel mileage of between
18 mpg/city and 31 mpg/highway. Some of
the optional features include alloy wheels, touch screen sound system and heated windscreen wiper nozzles.
Alternatively, drivers may prefer the 2013 Volkswagen GLI compact sedan which has more emphasis on performance.
If you are on the lookout for a good, reliable convertible, then the hardtop 2013 Volkswagen Eos is now being
offered in a sport trim level. The estimated mileage of 22 mpg/city to
30 mpg/highway is provided by a turbocharged 2.0
liter engine and 6 speed DSG transmission. The Eos features alloy wheels, sunroof, heated seats and
a premier safety package which includes brake pad wear indicators.
The 2013 Volkswagen Golf is one of the key models in the lineup. The hatchback is
available in both 3 and 5 door
trim levels and offers a choice of two different engines. EPA estimates
for fuel mileage are 33 mpg/
highway and 23 mpg/city for the standard engine plus 42 mpg/ highway and
30 mpg/city for the diesel. The Golf has some
impressive features making a great general all-rounder. These include
navigation and stereo systems with touch screens, pollen filters built
into the climate control, and heated seats. Its major safety features
include electronic stability control with
hydraulic brake assist, intelligent crash response, and a front end that
is optimized for crashes. There is also a more performance oriented version in
the form of the 2013 Volkswagen Golf R which remains relatively unchanged from last year's model. Another popular
hatchback in the Volkswagen range is the 2013 Volkswagen GTI, another model which has undergone few changes this
year.
The Jetta is one of Volkswagen's staple models which appears in their lineup year after year. The 2013
Volkswagen Jetta Sedan is available in several trim levels including a
Hybrid for those looking for a "greener"
vehicle. Major features are: touch screen navigation, multi-function steering wheel,
touch screen sound system,
8-speaker sound system, and panoramic sunroof. The 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen offers a station wagon variant
on the classic model and a Hybrid trim level is also offered.
Another of Volkswagen's key models is the 2013 Volkswagen Passat, a family sedan with three trim options
including a diesel powered variant. The Passat TDI comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission and can get
up to 43 mpg/highway. Since estimated EPA mileage is 32 mpg/highway and 20 mpg/city, the Passat should have no
trouble meeting or exceeding those numbers, depending on engine/transmission selection. The major features are
navigation system, remote start, heated front seats, premium leather seats, hands-free phone capabilities and
sunroof. The Passat is also available with rear console vents, a new feature for 2013.
Volkswagen also has models that can cater to those in the market for an SUV style of vehicle. The 2013
Volkswagen Tiguan is a FWD crossover with a turbocharged 2.0 liter engine under the hood. Some of the optional
features include alloy wheels, heated front seats, touch screen stereo, 4WD, navigation,
sunroof, ambient lighting, push button starting, and keyless entry. Meanwhile, the 2013 Volkswagen Touareg is a
mid-sized SUV which has three engine options including the 3.0 liter VG Clean Diesel option.
