Toyota Cars - Toyota Prices

When it comes to reliable auto brands, Toyota is a name that is often included with the best. The brand produces some of the most dependable models on the market and millions of Toyotas are sold across the globe every year. With the Toyota Prius, the brand became the first manufacturer to mass produce a hybrid model and to date it is the best performing hybrid in terms of sales. Toyota is one of the most successful auto companies and the 2013 line as always is spearheaded by the ever popular Toyota Corolla which was first produced in the sixties.

When it comes to hybrid vehicles, there are many who say that the Toyota Prius is still the original and best. This year's lineup features three models of the popular hybrid as well as hybrid trim levels on some of the other models (Highlander and Avalon). The 2013 Toyota Prius is a mid-sized 5 door hatchback with a 1.8 liter engine and an AC synchronous motor. The Prius features air conditioning with a pollen and dust filter which is fantastic for those with allergy problems. It also has remote keyless entry, push button start and hands free phone capabilities. There is also the Plug-in model which has a permanent AC synchronous motor and a lithium ion battery pack to allow extended electric only driving time. Finally, the Prius V model offers a 5 door hatchback variant of the popular hybrid.

The 2013 Toyota lineup features no less than six SUV models to choose from. The 2013 Toyota 4Runner remains pretty much unchanged from last year's model offering mid-sized SUV with an EPA estimated range of 17 mpg/city to 22 mpg/highway. Some of the features offered include navigation with touch screen and voice activation, smart stop technology, 20 inch alloy wheels, and third row seating that folds flat.

Alternatively, you might want to opt for the 2013 Toyota Highlander which is also available in a Hybrid trim level. With its 9 speaker audio system, entertainment system for rear seats, and power lift gate, this SUV is perfect for the family road trip.

If you are looking for a full size SUV instead, then the 2013 Toyota Sequoia seats 7 passengers and offers a choice of either a 5.7 liter V8 engine, or a FlexFuel variant. Features include voice-activated touch-screen DVD navigation system, backup camera, 13-speaker sound system, rear-seat DVD/BlueRay entertainment system, 4-disc CD changer. Meanwhile, the 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser can offer 381 hp and over 400 ft-lb of torque thanks to the 5.7 liter V8 that it has under the hood. The new or revised features for 2013 include a new tail lamp design, LED running lamps, new wheel options and an all new hard-drive navigation system. A number of optional features are also available including a 6 disc CD/DVD changer and 14 speaker surround sound system.

For more of an off-road SUV, the 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser has seen few changes this year. Powered by a 4.0 liter V6 engine, the FJ Cruiser has a choice of drive-trains with RWD or 4WD available. Some of the features that are available include running boards, electronically-controlled locking rear differential and daytime running lights.

Not everyone likes the idea of driving an SUV, but that is not a problem at Toyota as there are plenty of sedans and hatchbacks to choose from as well. The 2013 Toyota Avalon has been totally revamped for the new year offering drivers a full sized sedan with a wealth of features including Bluetooth wireless technology, voice activated touchscreen DVD Navigation System and power assisted rear window shade. For a more compact sedan, the 2013 Toyota Corolla remains unchanged for the new line and still offers all of the features that has made it one of the brand's flagship vehicles.

For a smaller everyday car, the 2013 Toyota Matrix has a number of attractive features including the innovative fold flat front passenger seat, cruise control and remote keyless entry system. Similarly, the 2013 Toyota Yaris offers buyers both 3 and 5 door hatchback trim options and with an EPA estimated range of 30 mpg city to 38 mpg highway, depending on transmission selection, it is ideal for driving around the city for work or when running errands.

Toyota has become famous for their high performance pickup trucks and the 2013 lineup features 3 models to choose from. The 2013 Toyota Tundra 4WD Truck is now available in a Platinum Package trim level as well as the choice between a 2 door standard cab or a 4 door double cab.
