Porsche Cars - Porsche Prices
Whenever we hear the word
"Porsche" we cannot help but think of the famous Porsche 911 model, and for many
years this was certainly the brand's flagship model. However, in recent years they have gone on to introduce the
small Boxster roadster and in something of a departure from their sports car image,
the Cayenne SUV and Panamera
sedan which now account for the majority of sales for the brand. Porsche has managed to diversify their range of
vehicles while staying true to their brand's sporty image. This looks set to continue throughout 2013 with rumors
of a crossover called the Porsche Cajun to be released later in the year.
The 2013 Porsche 911 is a two door luxury sports car with a rear engine and is an icon in the world of motoring.
The standard Carrera trim level offers RWD and a 3.4 liter flat 6 engine. This offers 350 hp and 287 lb of torque.
Upgrading to the Carrera S trim level offers an attractive power boost in the shape of an upgraded 3.8 liter flat
6 engine with 400 hp and 325lb-ft of torque. The addition of AWD is available with the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S
trim levels which feature the same engine options. All of these are available in either cabriolet or coupe
styles.

If you are looking to upgrade the performance even further, there is also the option of the Carerra GTS and
Carrera GTS Cabriolet trim levels which are kitted out with an impressive 3.8 liter direct fuel injection V6 engine
delivering 480 hp. All of the 911 models are supplied with a 6 speed manual transmission as standard, but an optional
PDK transmission is also available. It is estimated that the 911 can give 19 mpg for city driving or 27 mpg on the
open road. As an added bonus, a special limited edition Spyder 918 trim is available to customers who will purchase
the Spyder 918 hybrid supercar on its release.
Another Porsche icon is the Boxster, and the 2013 Porsche Boxster has a complete redesign for this year's line up.
The roadster draws its power from a 2.7 liter flat 6 engine, but upgrading to the Boxster S trim level will offer a
3.4 liter flat 6 engine alternative. Both of the Boxster trim levels are RWD and six speed manual transmission.
Optional extras on the 2013 Boxster include PDK transmission, Bluetooth connectivity, Bose sound system,
side impact
protection, Porsche communication management system and anti-theft vehicle tracking system.
If you are looking for an SUV, the 2013 Porsche Cayenne is available in both Hybrid and Turbo trim levels. At the
base level, there is a 3.6 liter V6 engine under the hood, but upgrading to the Cayenne S will give you the 4,8 liter
V8 engine. The Cayenne Turbo trim level utilizes that same engine but has the addition of twin turbochargers to boost
both the horsepower and torque. All three trim levels can achieve a fuel mileage of 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on
the highway. The Hybrid model has a 3.0 liter V6 hybrid engine under the hood enabling 20 mpg in the city and 24 mpg
on the highway.
All of the Cayenne models are equipped with
8 speed automatic transmissions and have optional features which
include surround sound system, rear-view camera and rear passenger entertainment package. Like the Boxster, the
Cayenne models also come with side impact protection, Porsche communication management system and anti-theft vehicle
tracking system.
Completing the current line up is the 2013 Porsche Panamera which has undergone a complete makeover in terms of
styling. The luxury sport sedan has a 3.6 liter V6 engine, although the optional Panamera S trim level has a higher
performance level. If you need even more in terms of performance, the Panamera Turbo S has a 4.8 liter V8 engine while
the Panamera S Hybrid trim level features a hybrid V6 3.0 liter engine teamed with
its 8 speed automatic transmission.
The standard RWD can be upgraded to AWD when the optional Panamera 4 or Panamera 4 S trim level is selected.
