Chevrolet (founded by a Swiss race driver) is now a subsidiary of General Motors and they offer a different
collection of cars, SUVs and sports cars. Despite stiff competition, the brand has always been able to hold its
own and is now one of the most well established automobile brands on the market.
New for 2013 is the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and it is a RWD which comes as either convertible or a coupe and is
powered by a 3.6 liter V6 engine. For those who like a bit more power the engine can be upgraded to a 6.2 liter
V8 that produces a whopping 426 hp. Features include heated mirrors, leather seats, a rearview camera and ABS.

Another sports car that Chevrolet is famous for is the Corvette and for 2013 is available as a coupe, a
soft-top convertible, targa or as a supercar. The basic Corvette comes with a 6.2 liter V8 engine that can be
upgraded to a 7.0 liter V8 that produces 505 hp, but for maximum performance the Chevrolet comes with a 6.2
liter supercharged V8 ZR1 Corvette. Features include 19 inch wheels, steering wheel mounted controls for the
audio system, leather seats and airbags and ABS.
The sports utility truck the Chevrolet Avalanche now comes with new standard features that include a rear
vision camera, remote ignition and power adjustable pedals. The Avalanche is capable of towing upwards of 8,100
lbs and has 45.5 cubic feet of cargo volume and under the hood is a 5.3 liter V8 FlexFuel engine. RWD comes as
standard and can be upgraded to a 4WD and is coupled with a 6 speed transmission. It comes with chrome 20 inch
wheels, heated leather seats, twin climate control, USB connectivity, DVD playback.
Unchanged for 2013 is the Silverado 1500 which is a full sized pickup truck which is capable of carrying 1,940
lbs. Engines come in three sizes, the 4.3 V6, the 4.8 FlexFuel V8 and the FLexFuel 5.3 liter V8 which come in 4WD
or RWD and either 4 or 6 speed auto transmissions.
The Chevrolet Cruze is unchanged for 2013 and still comes in either a 1.8 or 1.4 turbocharged engine sizes and
FWD. Meanwhile the Chevrolet Spark is basically a rebranded Daewoo Matiz, and is ideal for the urban streets with
its 1.2 liter engine and up to 38 mpg fuel economy.
For 2013 the Chevrolet Equinox now comes with a new engine and is now available in new colors, and this medium
sized SUV has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and a 2.4 liter engine that can be increased to a 3.6 fuel injected
V6 that produces 292 hp and comes with leather seats and 19 inch wheels. Another SUV that remains unchanged is the
2013 Chevrolet Suburban which can seat 9 people and can tow 8,100 lbs. The full size SUV crossover, the Chevrolet
Tahoe can also seat nine and can tow weight up to 8,500 lbs, and is also available as a hybrid. Redesigned for 2013
is another full sized crossover SUV, the Traverse, which seats eight and comes with a 3.6 liter V6 configured
engine.
New standard features have been introduced to the 2013 Chevrolet Express Passenger Van and it comes with the
choice of either AWD or RWD and the standard engine can be upgraded to a FLexFuel one. As for engine size you
can choose between the standard 4.3 V6, or the meatier 5.3 V8 and both come with 4 speed auto transmission. Eight
people can be accommodated inside this passenger van in comfort and safety includes airbags and ABS.
Another unchanged car for 2013 is the full sized 3.6 liter powered sedan, the Chevrolet Impala which comes with
standard FWD and a 6 speed automatic transmission. Features include a sound system made by Bose, leather seats and
twin zone climate control.
The Chevrolet Malibu now comes with a new design for 2013 and is a medium sized sedan that can seat up to five
people. The standard car comes with a 2.5 liter engine that comes with a 6 speed automatic transmission. Remote
ignition, rear camera and sunroof are some of the features included.
The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic is a compact FWD car that comes as either a sedan or 5 door hatchback and comes with
either a standard 1.8 liter or an optional 1.4 turbocharged engine.
The plug-in hybrid car the Volt is also available and comes with an EV hold drive mode which allows the user to
switch from electric power to normal fuel modes.
